We currently offer clinics on two specific issues for business owners. These clinics are kept to
a maximum class size of ten (10) so that attendees can ask more questions and get valuable
feedback from others. Everyone is provided materials that we know will serve as a useful tool.
Each clinic is 90 minutes with a registration fee of just $25.00.
IRS Tax Compliance
We realize that many business owners have some basic questions about what they should do once
their business has started. In our experience, the most challenging and intimidating aspect of
business ownership for many has been dealing with the IRS. This clinic focuses on the fundamentals
for IRS compliance.
Becoming Certified as a Woman/Minority Business Enterprise
Many women and minority business owners consider the advantages and disadvantages of becoming certified.
Oftentimes, opportunities are presented to these business owners because they have been historically
underutilized by more established businesses and government agencies. This clinic focuses on the
certification process, how to effectively use your certification, and the procurement process for the
State of Texas and several local agencies.
